Warranty and Insurance

Is it very important that all customers understand there is no warranty on our jewellery.

It is of paramount importance for buyers to insure their own piece once in their possession, as no refund will be offered for breakage due to wear after you have accepted the product. By purchasing second-hand jewellery you are receiving a great price, often less than the replacement as new value, individual pieces cannot be guaranteed due to the past life and how at risk jewellery is to everyday damage. To prevent disappointment, we strongly urge buyers to secure insurance coverage on high value items and that will cover any issues.

Moreover, when investing in our jewellery, you are buying an asset. There is potential appreciation in the value of your piece over time. We advocate for the regular upkeep of your jewellery through annual cleaning and valuation. Ensuring your insurance coverage aligns with these updates is a prudent practice that safeguards your investment.

Earrings – Health and Safety Disclaimer

Please note that most of the earrings sold by Inne Jewellery are second-hand and have been previously worn. While we take every reasonable measure to clean these earrings — including washing them with soap and boiling water — they are not sterilised to medical standards.

By purchasing second-hand earrings from this website, you acknowledge and accept that:

may carry a risk of allergic reaction, irritation, or infection, particularly if you have sensitive skin, metal allergies, or unhealed piercings.

Inne Jewellery will not be held liable for any adverse reactions, health issues, or complications that may arise from the use or wear of second-hand earrings purchased from this site. If you have any concerns about potential health risks, we strongly advise that you do not purchase these items.

Why we use first hand fine link chains

The vast majority of our jewellery is pre-loved or deadstock — pieces with history, sourced responsibly from the second-hand market. That’s the heart of what we do.

The only exceptions are our fine link chains and cable link chains, which we source first-hand from a Northern Irish company.

Why? Through experience, we’ve found that second-hand chains in these styles are often delicate and prone to breaking. They’re also difficult to properly test or assess for long-term wear. As a result, we made the decision to source new chains that we can truly stand over.

This approach allows us to give new life to a large number of second-hand pendants, which is a huge win for reuse and sustainability — and for you, it means the charm of old with the reliability of new.
