This design has travelled through centuries of history, appearing in Roman, Medieval, Renaissance and Victorian times. The two hands clasped together can hold so many meanings: friendship, love, mourning, memory. A simple gesture that has carried people’s stories for generations.

Over the years, whenever we’ve been lucky enough to find antique Fede rings, they’ve flown out almost immediately. They’re incredibly hard to come by, and we’re constantly searching for them.

So, we decided to create our own variation.

Inspired by the historic pieces we love most, our Fede ring honours the symbolism, the story, and the beautiful simplicity of two hands clasped together. We’ve also created a simple band to sit alongside it, making it perfect for stacking—minimal, but full of meaning.

Some say the Fede ring even inspired the Claddagh when sailors docked in Galway Bay and brought the design with them—a lovely link between Irish jewellery and an even older tradition.
